Motherload of Books!
Okay, so this is getting ridiculous. But I can't help it, a shipment of books came in at Booktopia in Libis including some that I ordered.
These include:
- Lewis Hyde's Trickster Makes This World
- Peter Turchi's Maps of the Imagination
- Robert E. Howard's Bran Mak Morn and Solomon Kane
- Kage Baker's The Anvil of the World
- R.A. Lafferty's Nine Hundred Grandmothers
Unfortunately, I only picked up the Lafferty and Hyde books earlier as I couldn't get all of them and not buy Christmas presents for people (hmmm, now that's a thought). Fortunately, my main man Robert was willing to reserve the rest 'til I can come up with the cold hard cash.
And though these are non-fiction, I'm particularly proud of getting these two books:
...and...
Yowza, talk about an early Christmas.
