Curious Cat Question

Here's a question for you people: a discussion over here about a fantasy book with the premise of a Northern American continent that doesn't have Native Americans before the arrival of Europeans. The ensuing comments made me wonder about the idea about prejudging books before reading it.

What do you think? If you disagree with the ideas presented in a book, will you read it-- barring a no-reason situation to begin with? (Of course you don't have to finish reading the book or even buying it to begin with.)
