Some More Movie News...

Some interesting tidbits:

>> According to this, SCI FI Channel has signed critically-acclaimed actress Isabella Rossellini in the pivotal role of the High Priestess Thar for the upcoming original epic, Earthsea, based on famed writer Ursula K. Le Guin's well-loved books. (Thanks to La Gringa for this one.)

>> And from mastadge: "Nicole Kidman is likely to play the White Witch in the silver screen adaptation of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, to be directed by Shrek and Shrek II director Andrew Adamson, filmed in New Zealand with much of the LotR production team, and released Christmas 2005."

Of course, Narnia was CS Lewis' masterpiece, usually mentioned in the same breath and awe as JRR Tolkien's Lord of the Rings.

Coolness.
