Overheard from a girl telling his male companion while riding the train this morning:

"I really want to watch the movie 'Sylvia.' You know, the movie about Sylvia Plath? It's about this professional poet and, you know, how she killed herself. I'm actually uncomfortable about that idea because, like, that's how professional poets are and I sometimes consider myself a professional poet..."

So, like, do I have to take a licensure exam to be a professional poet or something? Geez...
