That REM Song...

... you know, "It's the End of the World As We Know It"?

That song's been running in my mind, what with the succeeding natural disasters we've been having.

Think about it: a month ago, we (the Philippines) got hit by a couple of typhoons, one of them damn super-strong.

Then the US West Coast was snowed under last week.

A couple days ago, an earthquake registering around 8 on the Richter Scale made itself felt somewhere near Australia.

Now a series of tsunamis take a bite out of the edge of Southeast and South Asia.

Look like Mama Earth goan wake up, yeh?

The death toll in the tsunami/ earthquake in Southeast and South Asia is now reaching 22,500.

Damn. That's a lot of people dead in three days.
