A Cycle of Words (Or, Having Coffee with the Cat)

(Picture from here)

For quite some time now, I've been noticing a pattern with this blog.

Basically, I will see that my blog is been looking quite dreary over the past week and update on Monday or Tuesday. Then my schedule overtakes me (whether work-related writing or actual writing) such that I'll be rather lacksadaisical about posting again. Then when the weekend rolls over, I'll notice that I haven't updated much for the past week.

But I suppose I can't help it much. Given my new work activities (making web-only articles), I prefer to work outside the office to avoid this evil thing called the Internet which constantly distracts me from working. And it's only at the office where I can blog anyway.

If I were to look at my writing priorities right now, it would be:

  1. Work-related
  2. Writing fiction
  3. Blog-writing

So really, this is the reason why my posting has become a bit... tattered, for which I apologize.

On my end, I'm hoping I can post more for this year. On your end... think of this as your weekly Monday (or Tuesday) habit, wherein you can meet up with a certain cat over coffee and cigarettes (for me anyway).

Just a thought.

are you familiar with www.librarything.com? you can catalog your books online and meet other people with the same literary leanings, find people with the same books, share reviews, favorite authors and so on and so on... it's very interesting :) like myspace, only erudite! hehehe

Hehe sorry cat. Am already obsessed with my books, I can't become obsessed with cataloguing them too. Unfortunately, 24 hours isn't enough in a day to take all of that too!
