My New Toy

The Lenovo Thinkpad R61.

Well, it's really for work. And writing. And it's damn handy. Without being heavy.

But still, I can see why some people name their laptops. Thankfully, I haven't gone into the tech/geek route yet, being the same technophobic cat you all know and love.

(Yes, I'm using John Picacio's artwork for the cover of Jeffrey Ford's The Well-Built City trilogy. It makes it look like a cabinet of curios, yes it does.)

Hey kitty kitty. At work they gave me the T61 of that laptop... but at the end of the day I still go home to my Mac.

anon: Heh unfortunately, I panic at the signt of Mac so it's Windows for me despite the problems. *shrugs*

don: Well, I do have a nice collection of artists' links to pick and choose desktop displays. Right now am using Palencar's "Four and Twenty Blackbirds" for my PC display. ;-)
