Psst! Did you know...

Just in case you think you don't get any juicy news from this blog, here's the advance word...

Fully-Booked recently launched the 3rd Philippine Graphic Fiction Awards last June 15 and is now open for submissions for prose fiction and comics. The deadline for the Neil Gaiman-sponsored competition is on September 30 with the winners scheduled to be announced by November. What's more, there is now a third category: short film!

You can check out the Fully-Booked website for complete details but you heard it here first.

Unfortunately, the PDF link to the contest's official application form is currently down so you guys just have to wait until Fully-Booked puts it up.

Added: Now it's up.

Geez... is there some perverse law of the universe that puts both Dean Alfar and Fully Booked's deadlines in the same month? I must have missed the memo.

Yes Sean, it's part of Dean's manifesto to train writers to have a working inventory.

sean: Heh, it's always been like that even last year.
