I remember doing this generic email interview with Alex Paman for Filipinas Magazine September last year on Philippine speculative fiction and it just popped out today. It's really a soundbite-- I should know, I do it a lot when I'm trying to add texture to an article I'm doing-- so it's really short. The article also quotes "extreme blogger" charles, dean, nikki, kyu, yvette, vin and andrew.

The funny thing now is that-- based on the soundbite-- does that mean I'm now an expert on writing? And is that now my tag: "short story writer" (which is essentially true until I write a novel)?

Don't quote me on that. *wink*
