The Horror, The Horror (Redux)

After almost one year to the day it was first announced, the promised horror issue of The Digest of Philippine Genre Stories is finally out today... Yay!

Guest-edited by Yvette Tan (she of the recently-launched Waking the Dead short-story collection and an honorable mention in Ellen Datlow's Best Horror of the Year, Volume 1), this issue has stories by Dominique Cimafranca, Sean Uy, Raymond Falgui, Alex Paman, Charles A. Tan and lil' ol' me. It also had David Dizon doing an advanced review wherein he bashed my story. But that's all right.

(Funny trivia: Dom, Sean, Charles and I once suggested the idea of a mud-wrestling match among the four of us. Or was it a jelly and cream match? I forget. Can anyone find that link again?)

Copies can be found at Comic Quest Megamall and SM North Edsa. Am told it should be available at National Bookstore via of Anvil Publishing.

Perfect reading for this coming Halloween, yes?
